]]> There is no start or end to this pool as the water floats at the coping level and spills into every view around it pulling in nature and the serenity from every angle. The warmth of the fire draws you in as it floats above the water.

The floating pebble sculpture was carved out of solid granite mirroring the smaller pebbles covering the sun shelf below. The 360-degree complete spillover knife edge is a difficult task requiring a perfectly executed perimeter gutter system which in turn produces the mirrored surface water of this 714 SF pool. This project was completed in 2022 in Jupiter, Florida.

Modern pool in Jupiter, Florida with an infinity edge, Ledge Loungers, in pool fire feature, custom sculpture, and a knife edge. A knife edge pool has water that sits at the same level as the pool deck to create a mirror surface effect. The custom made enlarged pebble was created by Lucas Lagoons and International Artistic Stone in Sarasota, Florida.

On this episode of Insane Pools, a multi-generational, environmentally conscious family living in a designated bird sanctuary in Osprey, FL asks design expert Lucas Congdon to create both a custom-built pool paradise and a bird pond oasis, all in one outdated, rundown backyard. After finding out a pool remodel won’t be possible, Lucas has a change in design plans and builds a new custom pool for the client. The final design of the custom pool in Osprey, Florida includes a natural Florida limestone fresh-water pond for the birds juxtaposed with a ModernZEN pool, gas fire pit and an oversize infinity edge custom spa. To complete the custom pool design, Lucas added plenty of outdoor living space including an outdoor dining area, an outdoor kitchen with bar, grill and seating plus a large deck joins the custom modern pool to the natural Florida pond.

Lucas Lagoons is tasked with a challenge – repair and remodel a Bradenton custom pool build for a famous golfing family. Puzzled as to how this pool was even built, Lucas creates an ocean-themed pool with fire features, an infinity edge, and his first water couch!
